User Source Code Download and Usage Agreement

This Agreement applies when a user downloads, purchases or uses project source code made available through VicroCode. Downloading or using Source Code means that you accept this Agreement.

What you may and may not do

  • Licence scope: after completing the required purchase or authorisation you may use the Source Code for personal learning, research, internal development or licensed commercial projects and may reasonably modify it; unless the project page states otherwise you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, not ownership.
  • No resale: you may not resell, rent, sublicense or commercially distribute the Source Code where the code itself is the primary value.
  • No public sharing: you may not upload or share it through websites, forums, file-sharing services, code hosts or other public channels.
  • Keep notices intact: you may not remove or alter copyright, licence, attribution or rights notices.
  • Lawful use only: you may not use the Source Code for unlawful conduct, infringement, or activity that compromises systems or data.

Third-party components, quality and liability

  1. Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their own licences; you are responsible for reviewing and following them.
  2. Source Code is provided in the condition described on the project page; unless the developer expressly promises otherwise, no guarantee of being error-free, continuously available or fit for a particular purpose is given.
  3. Review, test, back up and secure the code before use; liability for loss caused by the environment, modification, integration or misuse is allocated under applicable law.
  4. Refunds and transactions follow the order page and platform rules; a breach may lead to termination of download or use rights and further legal action.

FAQ

Can I use purchased source code in my own commercial project?

Yes, within a licensed commercial project and with reasonable modification; you may not resell or redistribute the code itself as the main value.

Can I commit it to my own Git repository?

A private repository used for your own project is normally acceptable; public repositories, forums or file-sharing links count as public distribution and breach this Agreement.

Who is responsible if the code throws errors?

Source Code is provided as described on the project page. Unless expressly promised, customisation, deployment, maintenance and support are not included; test and back up before use.
